Who this notice covers
This notice applies to the Te Waipounamu Education website at www.twpe.co.nz. Individual centre websites may have their own privacy notices, especially where they collect enrolment, visit, fee, or child-specific information directly.
Information you provide
If you use the contact form, we collect the name, email address, subject, and message you choose to send. If you use the careers form, we collect your name, email address, phone number, role interest, qualification status, optional message, and any CV you upload.
We use this information to respond to your enquiry, direct it to the right person or centre, assess expressions of interest in employment, and keep a practical record of the conversation where needed.
How forms are handled
Website forms are sent to authorised Te Waipounamu Education recipients by email. The website currently uses Mailgun to deliver those messages, and the site is hosted on Vercel. Those providers process form and technical information only so the website and email delivery can work.
Careers attachments are limited to PDF, DOC, or DOCX files up to 4 MB. Please avoid sending sensitive information that is not relevant to your enquiry or application.
Website measurement
We use Vercel Analytics and Speed Insights to understand page performance and general site usage. This helps us keep the website reliable and improve the pages people use most. We use this information in aggregate and do not use it to identify individual visitors.
Sharing information
We may share your enquiry with the centre, manager, leadership team member, or administrator best placed to respond. We may also share information with service providers that support this website, email delivery, hosting, security, and website measurement.
We do not sell personal information. We may disclose information if required by law, to protect safety, or to respond to a lawful request from a regulator or public authority.
Security and retention
We take reasonable steps to protect information submitted through the website and limit access to people who need it for the purposes above. We keep form submissions and related email records only for as long as they are needed for the enquiry, recruitment process, administration, legal, or record-keeping purposes.
Your access and correction rights
You can ask whether Te Waipounamu Education holds personal information about you, request access to that information, or ask for it to be corrected if you think it is wrong. You can also raise a privacy concern.
